Details Released After Crash With Injuries Causes I-84 Closure
New details have been released after a two-vehicle crash that closed I-84 for more than an hour sent two to the hospital for treatment.
The crash took place around 10:26 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, in the town of Southeast, when a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo driven by Bubacarr Dukureh, 55, of the Bronx, was traveling westbound when he was either stopped or coming to a stop in the lane, and was hit in the rear by a 2019 Dodge Ram van, driven by Christopher J. Saas, 50, of Patterson, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks.

A former New York Police Department detective and private investigator from Brookfield remembered as a "great cop" and "legend" on social media, has died.
Ret. Det. Harald Kukk, NYPD, a husband, and father, died Monday, May 27 at Danbury Hospital. He was 75.
Kukk was born on May 25, 1944, in Parnu, Estonia, son of the late Verner and Fronelly Kukk. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School in New York City. He attended CCNU and was a graduate of Charter Oak State College.
