Fake Federal Agent Steals Sailboat In PA River: Police
A man claiming to be a federal agent was chased down in a stolen sailboat in the Delaware River on Thursday, Aug. 16, according to authorities. City police were patrolling the river near Penn's Landing around 7 p.m. when a member of a sailing club flagged them down about a stolen vessel, the department said. 4 'Incredibly Lucky' Boaters Rescued Off Gloucester County: US Coast Guard
The U.S. Coast Guard rescued four people after their 12-foot vessel became disabled in the Delaware River near Chester Island, Gloucester County, authorities said. The owner and operator of the aluminum boat contacted watchstanders at the Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay command center on Sunday, July 30. Trailer Fire Shuts Tacony-Palmyra Bridge
All lanes of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge were closed Sunday evening, July 30 after a tractor trailer caught fire underneath it. After more than a week of active efforts to locate 9-month-old Conrad Sheils, Bucks County officials are ending their search. Sheils, his sister 2-year-old Matilda, and their mother Katie Seley were swept away in the flash flooding that submerged sections of Bucks on Sunday, July 16, Daily Voice has reported. Philadelphia police are investigating after a man's body was recovered from the Delaware River late on Sunday, July 23, the department told Daily Voice. It happened just before 8 p.m. near the corner of North Delaware Avenue and Orthodox Street in Bridesburg, authorities said.
