Man's Body Found Floating In Delaware River Was 'Suspicious Death': Report
A man's body was found floating in the Delaware River, and police believe his death was suspicious, CBS3 reports. Recovery crews were called to the 3200 block of Buckius Street in Bridgesburg, where the man was pronounced dead around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 13, the outlet says. Body Of Delaware River Boater Found Months After Disappearance:

One of two boaters who disappeared last November on the Delaware River has been found, authorities said. The body of Brian S. Palangi, 26, was found in the waters near the Philadelphia Navy Yard on May 15, a New Jersey State Police spokesman said. The area is adjacent to the Eagle Point Refinery, on the Philadelphia side of the Delaware River. Palangi's family had been notified but the information was not released publicly until Monday, July 11. Palangi and Joseph P. Emergency crews are attempting to recover a body from the Delaware River in Trenton, developing reports say. The local fire department was called to assist with the recovery effort near Lambert Street shortly before 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, according to initial and unconfirmed reports. The body was seen about 30 feet from the ramp in the Delaware River, the initial report says. Authorities did not immediately return DailyVoice.com’s request for additional details. Body Of Missing Delaware River Swimmer Found
The body of a swimmer who went missing last week in the Delaware River was found over the weekend, WFMZ reports. Christopher Schofield's body was found by a park visitor around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, near Kittatinny Point within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, the outlet said. Search Launched For Missing PA Swimmer In Delaware River
National and local police agencies were searching for a 23-year-old Pennsylvania man who went missing while swimming in the Delaware River Tuesday, June 21, WFMZ reports. Christopher Schofield, of Stroudsburg, was swimming with two others in a section of the river with strong currents when he began to struggle and submerged near the Interstate 80 toll bridge around 8 p.m., the outlet says citing the National Park Service. The Coast Guard and local fire agencies responded to a barge fire approximately 9 miles south of Port Mahon. There were six fire boats from local fire agencies actively fighting the fire. A Burlington County man was shot to death while sitting in his home, authorities said. Multiple shots were fired from outside the man's home, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Palmyra Police Department Chief Meghan Campbell.
