CT Duo Nabbed For Assaulting Officers, Police Say
A Connecticut duo was arrested for allegedly assaulting officers and resisting arrest after a bar closed and they attempted to reenter.
The incident took place in Milford at the Stonebridge Restaurant around 1 a.m., Sunday, July 31.
Police were near Stonebridge to assist with bar closing when officers noticed Dinsdale Brown, age 25, of Ansonia attempting to gain entry after being thrown out, said the Milford Police.
Brown began to fight with officers and resisted arrest, police said.

A Connecticut teen who has been arrested in the stabbing death of a popular Fairfield County student-athlete will be charged as an adult.
James "Jimmy" McGrath, age 17, a football and lacrosse player at Fairfield College Preparatory School, was killed around 11:50 p.m., in Shelton on Saturday, May 14 during a fight in front of a residence, authorities said.
The suspect, a 16-year-old New Haven County resident who lives in Milford, appeared in juvenile court on Wednesday, May 18.
