Teaneck Fugitive Wanted For Fort Lee Domestic Violence Attempted Murder Surrenders At BC Jail
UPDATE: With a posse on his tail, a Teaneck man accused of stabbing his roommate in Fort Lee turned himself in, authorities said. Asim B. Ouhuru, 33, was taken to Bergen New Bridge Medical Center after surrendering at the Bergen County Jail on River Street in Hackensack, Capt. Daniel Zusi said. Ouhuru was headed directly back to the jail Friday afternoon after an evaluation, he said. Hillcrest Man, 26, Charged After Woman Suffers Injuries In Domestic Dispute, Police Say
A woman was hospitalized in Rockland County after being involved in a domestic incident with a 26-year-old man over the weekend. Officers from the Ramapo Police Department responded to Nyack Hospital shortly after midnight on Sunday, Nov. 25, where there was a report of a woman who was the victim of a domestic assault earlier that night. Police said that the woman suffered several minor injuries during the assault. A police canine found a slew of drugs inside the car of a man involved in an alleged domestic assault in Northern Westchester. Members of the Yorktown Police Department received a report of a person in the middle of Route 132 asking motorists to call law enforcement for an emergency.
