Beloved Local Pastor Struck, Killed By Car In Stratford A well-known local pastor was hit and killed by a car while crossing a street in Stratford. Pastor Levorn Murphy was hit around 11 p.m., Thursday, May 24, on Lordship Boulevard as he crossing the street to get a snack at a Shell station, reported News 12. Murphy was transported to the hospital, where he later died.  No charges have yet been filed against the driver, who stayed at the scene.  Murphy worked with Time for a Change ministry in Bridgeport, helping men struggling with drug addiction, said News 12.
