Police ID Motorcyclist, 48, Killed In Central Jersey Crash Police have identified the 48-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash in Central Jersey. Thomas Zink Jr., of Milltown, was riding on Fresh Ponds Road in East Brunswick about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10 when he crashed, police said. The carjacking attempt occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3 on Route 18 in East Brunswick, initial reports said.  A high-speed chase ensued along Route 27 in North Brunswick. The chase reached speeds of 80 mph, an unconfirmed report said. It was unclear if the armed robberies are the same ones that occurred earlier Thursday on the Rutgers University campus.
