Missing Suffolk County Woman Located This story has been updated. Suffolk County Police have located a missing East Islip woman in which a Silver Alert had been issued. Joyce Newins, 82, who was last heard moving in her apartment on Tuesday, May 21, was located by police on Thursday, May 23, said the Suffolk County Police. Police did not offer details of where she was found. She last spoke to her family via telephone early Saturday, May 18, and was reported missing by her daughter-in-law.
