Pennsylvania state troopers shot and killed a 19-year-old man who refused to drop his weapon on a Route 80 overpass on Dec. 30 in Monroe County, authorities said. Troopers responded to the State Route 33 southbound overpass where they found Christian Joseph Hall was standing and clutching a gun around 1:40 pm, Pennsylvania State Police said. Pennsylvania officials ordered an additional 33 restaurants temporarily closed, and have sought an injunction against 22 establishments in repeated violation of COVID-19 orders. PA Driver Admits Retaliating For NJ Traffic Ticket With Bogus Liens Against 32 Officials
A Pennsylvania man admitted that he filed bogus liens against 32 current or former public officials in New Jersey after he got a traffic ticket in Morris County. Solomon Lightner, 41, of East Stroudsburg, took a deal, pleading guilty to witness tampering in exchange for what will be probation, rather than go to trial. Lightner also terminated the filings, authorities said.
