Hildebrand (“Ed”) Ranieri, a longtime resident of Eastchester, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 28. He was 100 years young, celebrating his century milestone this past September.
He is survived by his children, Bill (and wife Tina), Joan (and significant other Mark) and Jamie (and wife Yvonne) and grandchildren Robert and Rachel. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and respective spouses in addition to many friends from around town and as many new friends he made during the last few years in Fort Myers, FL. Intruder Tries To Enter School In Westchester
Security has been beefed up at a Hudson Valley elementary school after an unwanted intruder attempted to gain access to the building, officials said.
On Wednesday, May 19, in Westchester County, a man sought to enter the Waverly School in Eastchester, officials said, ringing the doorbell, attempting to open the door, and standing outside for several minutes until law enforcement arrived.
The suspect - whose name has not been released - was taken into custody, arrested, and charged with trespassing for attempting to enter the building unlawfully.
