Luke was born on August 14, 1949 in Edgewater, NJ, and raised in Franklin Square, Long Island and Croton-on-Hudson, NY. At Hendrick Hudson High School, Luke performed in several musicals and plays including “Oklahoma” and “Anastasia” and was cast as Buffalo Bill in “Annie Get Your Gun.” His passion for theater continued at Harpur College, Binghamton University where he majored in Cinema Arts. Passenger, 72, Critical, Driver, 70, Hurt Following Crash On Hudson Waterfront In Edgewater
UPDATE: A crash Wednesday afternoon in Edgewater critically injured a 70-year-old passenger and also sent her 72-year-old driver to the hospital, authorities said.
The severity of life-threatening injuries to the passenger brought the Bergen County Prosecutor's Fatal Accident Investigations Unit, along with borough police, firefighters and EMS.
The women, both from Cliffside Park, were in a 2007 Toyota Corolla headed south on River Road that suddenly turned left into the gated Independence Harbor housing development around 2 p.m., Police Chief Donald Martin said.

Woman Hit With Baseball Bat In Edgewater Parking Lot Brawl, Hudson Trio Charged
A North Bergen man hit a woman in the head with an aluminum baseball bat during a wild brawl in the parking lot of the Edgewater Target, authorities said.
Edgewater police quickly restored order, with help from their Cliffside Park and Fort Lee colleagues, after finding the injured woman among several people fighting in the parking lot on River Road late last Wednesday, Police Chief Donald Martin said.
EMTs took the victim to a local hospital with a head injury, Martin said.
