Man At Large After Stabbing Outside Linden Bowling Alley: Police A 25-year-old Newark man was stabbed outside a bowling alley in Linden on Friday, Nov. 8, authorities said. At 6:10 p.m., officers responded to Linden Lanes at 741 N. Stiles St. and found the victim, Linden police said in a release. The man had been involved in an argument with a co-worker, Easkon Walker, a 44-year-old Elizabeth man, police said. Walker pulled a knife and stabbed him multiple times before fleeing the scene, police said. The victim was treated on scene and taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, police said. Police responded to a report of an unresponsive infant at Pingry Place, a spokeswoman for the city said. Both parents were working, and their eldest child was watching his younger siblings, including the infant, when the infant had a medical emergency, authorities said. The infant was pronounced dead at Trinitas Hospital, authorities said. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency was notified, authorities said.
