Recall Alert: Pharma Company Pulls Infant Ibuprofen From CVS, Walmart, Family Dollar Tris Pharma, Inc. has voluntarily recalled a popular infant’s Ibuprofen product that is being sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar. The recalled lots from the three stores include Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension, USP (NSAID) 50 mg per 1.25 mL, to the retail level. The recalled products have been found to potentially have higher concentrations of ibuprofen. According to the company, there is a “remote possibility that infants, who may be more susceptible to a higher potency level of drug, and therefore may be more vulnerable to permanent NSAID-associated renal injury.” Adv…

Clifton PD: Shoplifter Tries To Stab Security Guard, Caught Hopping Bus A shoplifter tried to stab a security guard at a Clifton dollar store, then was caught and subdued while trying to flee on a bus, authorities said. Jose Sandoval, 29, pulled the knife and tried to stab the guard during a struggle at the Family Dollar store on Getty Avenue Monday afternoon, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said. Responding officers grabbed Sandoval after he tried to hop the bus in the area of Main and Crooks avenues, Bracken said. Pair Allegedly Made Fraudulent Purchases In Area State Police investigators have released surveillance photos of a pair believed to be frequenting Orange County stores and making a series of fraudulent charges over the span of nearly a month. Members of the Middletown Bureau of Criminal Investigation released the photos on Wednesday, of two alleged suspects who have frequented several Rite Aid, Dollar General, Family Dollar and Walmart locations between April 5 and April 28, making the alleged fraudulent purchases.
