Heavy smoke at a popular Mahopac restaurant prompted a quick fire department response early Sunday morning, allowing the eatery to open as planned for Father's Day. Just before 4:30 a.m., the Mahopac Falls Fire Department and a unit from Carmel Police were dispatched to the Holy Smoke restaurant on Route 6N for a commercial fire alarm, according to Jack Casey of the MFFD.
