Erratic Driving Stop Results For DUI Charge For Norwalk Man, Darien Police Say A Norwalk man is facing DUI charges after police say he was pulled over for driving erratically in Darien. Darien Police say they responded to a report of an erratic driver on Post Road near Hecker Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 18 around 10:15 a.m. The report stated that the driver’s vehicle was hitting the curb as it drove, police say. Man Caught Speeding Under The Influence, New Canaan Police Say A New Canaan man was busted for driving under the influence after officers spotted him speeding. Clayton Burt, 20, was arrested early Friday after an officer on patrol observed a vehicle traveling 60 mph in a posted 40 mph speed zone, said New Canaan Lt. Jason Ferraro. While speaking with Burt during the stop, the officer detected signs of impairment and a field sobriety test was administered which he failed, Ferraro said.
