Two women were arrested for unlicensed massage and prostitution during a raid at a Long Island massage parlor.
In response to numerous community complaints, authorities led by the Suffolk County Police Department conducted an investigation at Li Foot Spa in Commack, located at 1041A Jericho Turnpike at approximately 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 15.
The Smithtown Fire Marshal issued five violations for fire code offenses.

Jing Li, of Flushing, Queens, was paddleboarding with his two young children on Hempstead Lake in Hempstead at approximately 5:45 p.m., Sunday, May 23, when the paddleboard capsized, and Li went underwater, said the New York State Police.

A pedestrian suffered major injuries after being struck by a car on a busy Long Island roadway.
Harvey Louie, of Flushing Queens, was crossing Main Street in Huntington at approximately 6:25 p.m. on Monday, May 3, to get back to his vehicle, Suffolk County Police said, when he was struck by a 2009 Lincoln SUV being driven by local resident Samuel Miller.
Police said that Louie, age 57, was treated at the scene before being transported by paramedics to Nassau University Medical Center for treatment of “serious physical injuries.”
