Popular bakery-café chain Panera Bread will hold a grand opening for its newest location, located in Deer Park at 403 Commack Road, at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, the company announced.
It won’t be the first Panera in town, as the restaurant was previously located at 1258 Deer Park Avenue, roughly two miles away.
In addition to the typical dine-in or takeout options, the new digs boast a drive-through window for added convenience.

A new eatery has opened for business in Westchester County.
Bagel Girl in North White Plains, located at 731 North Broadway, is now serving patrons.
The menu includes a variety of bagels, house-made spreads, and other baked items including muffins, croissants, and English muffins, according to the eatery's website.
The shop also sells breakfast sandwiches to-go, salads, yogurt, coffee, and tea.
