A 17-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in a crash on Route 287 that closed both sides of the highway in Somerset County Friday, Jan. 12, police said. The girl was heading south in a Ford Ranger pickup truck in the exit lane for Exit 10, while a Toyota passenger car was heading south in the right lane around 1:15 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. A pedestrian strike by a hit-and-run driver is under investigation in Lower Paxton, police announced on Tuesday, Jan. 9. A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly driving recklessly through an elementary school parking lot and then taking police on a pursuit. $20K Fur Store Heist: Trio On Run After Incident In Stamford
Three men are on the run after allegedly ripping off a Fairfield County fur store for more than $20,000 in goods. The incident took place in Stamford around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 27 at Engle's Fur at 115 Bedford St. According to Stamford Police, the three men entered the store and walked out with the furs, fleeing in an awaiting Ford pickup truck with misused Florida plates IBB434. Delays were reported on I-295 Wednesday morning, Dec. 27 due to a crash in Mount Laurel. It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the southbound side when an Audi lost control, ran off the roadway, struck a guardrail and then re-entered the highway near milepost 39.9, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. Driver, 51, Killed In South Jersey Crash: Police
A 51-year-old man from Millville was killed after he collided with an SUV, authorities said. Elmer Rosell died at the crash scene, according to Millville Police Chief Ross Hoffman. A 41-year-old Leesburg woman was driving a Ford Bronco southbound on the 2300 block of South 2nd Street in Millville at 4:48 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, when her vehicle collided with a Chevy Malibu attempting to make a left turn out of Country Meadows Mobile Home Park, Hoffman said. The crash remains under investigation and no charges had been filed, he said.

Authorities have identified the 21-year-old man who died after he fell from a pick-up truck in Worcester County over the weekend, authorities said. Dan Cleary, of Charlton, fell from a Ford truck around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17, on Stafford Street, the Worcester County District Attorney said. He was a passenger.
