Police Evacuate Apartment To Apprehend Robbery Suspect In Poughkeepsie A Town of Poughkeepsie apartment house had to be evacuated Monday after a wanted armed robbery suspect was spotted in one of the units, according to the Town of Poughkeepsie Police. The Mountain Brook Estates at 134 Innis Ave., was cleared around 7 p.m., after police received information that Joseph Crocco, 41, of New Hampshire, was inside one of the units, said Capt. Kevin Faber.  Crocco was wanted as a fugitive from justice for armed robbery, Faber said. Double Homicide Suspect Arrested As Fugitive In Connecticut An out-of-state fugitive suspected in a double murder was arrested Monday, Jan. 29, at about 4:45 p.m. in Connecticut. Connecticut State Police detectives from Eastern District Major Crime were contacted by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina requesting assistance in locating a suspect wanted for a double homicide in Aiken, S.C.
