Popular Owner Of Huntington Pizzeria Dies Modesto DiRaimo who was the popular owner of DiRaimo Pizzeria in Huntington died Friday, Aug. 16, at age 83. DiRaimo of Woodbury owned the restaurant for 41 years, according to his obituary.  He was born on Oct. 26, 1935. He was the husband of the late Elana and father of Joseph(Christine), Maryellen(Joseph) and Steven(Elizabeth).  He was the grandfather of Victoria, Joseph, Modesto, Stefano, Elena, and Lucia; and brother of Annibale, Elena, Rosa, and the late Alba.  Modesto is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Richard Carroll was killed around 3 p.m. Friday, July 20, after his 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 4-by-4 pickup truck hit the Highland Avenue overpass bridge, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office. He was the lone occupant of the vehicle. The crash is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.
