An adult and two dogs escaped a house fire unscathed Friday, July 26 in Glen Rock, as reported by Boyd A. Loving.
The fire broke out in a second-floor bathroom of the Nottingham Road home sometime around 1 p.m., bringing firefighters from multiple agencies to the scene.

Susanna Battiston, Formerly Of Glen Rock, Dies After Long Illness, 36
Susanna Battiston died on July 11, 2024 at home in Stockholm after a long illness, her obituary on the Becker Funeral Home site says. She was 36 years old.
A talented singer, Susanna was raised in Glen Rock where she performed in school musical productions and coffeeshops, her obituary reads. Five people were reportedly injured in a wild rollover crash in a quiet Bergen County neighborhood on Thursday, June 27.
According to accident photographer by Boyd A. Loving citing police, a Honda CRV T-boned a Jeep Wrangler at High Street and Norwood Avenue in Glen Rock, causing the Jeep to roll over at least once before landing upright ust before 4 p.m., Loving said.
