Feds Bust Ex-Jersey Shore High School Sportswriter In Underage Sex Luring Case A former part-time high school sportswriter from Ocean County was arrested by the FBI on Tuesday and charged with convincing an underage girl to send him sexually explicit photos, authorities said. Kevin Van Pelt, 29, of Lakehurst, “engaged in sexually explicit conduct over an online messaging service,” U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
