Victim ID'd In Fatal Head-On Collision In Greenbelt
The victim of a fatal crash over the weekend in Greenbelt has been identified, authorities say. Manuel Juarez, 52, was driving westbound on Greenbelt Road when an eastbound vehicle crossed into his lane striking him head-on near Lakecrest Drive around 7:40 a.m., Friday, June 10, according to Prince George's County Police. Juarez was transported to a nearby hospital and succumbed to his injuries a few hours later. A Maryland man conspired with others to steal $246,390 from a New Jersey worker’s 401(k), federal authorities charged. Oladapo Sunday Ogunbiyi, 40, of Greenbelt, and others secretly tapped into the fund, added a bank account belonging to someone else and began steering money into it, an indictment returned by a grand jury in U.S. District Court alleges. “Ogunbiyi and others directed that the fraud proceeds be converted into cashier’s checks, which were provided to Ogunbiyi,” U.S. Attorney Philip R. Search Continues For Missing Autistic Man In Prince George's County
An autistic man has gone missing from Greenbelt, and police are asking for the public's help in locating him, authorities say. Dujuan Hinson, 25, was last seen at a soccer field on the 7200 block of Mandan Road around 9:30 p.m., Monday, May 30, according to the Maryland Center for Missing and Unidentified Persons. Hinson is autistic and may need medical attention. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black shirt and brown jeans. Pair Charged In January Towson Murder
Two arrests have been made in the slaying of Quenten Branch in Towson, reports CBS 13. Stephen Parker, 20, of Greenbelt, and Kaleb Jackson, 20, of Baltimore were charged with murder earlier this month after Branch was found shot on Colbury Road near Goucher Boulevard around 4:30 a.m., Jan. 9, says CBS 13. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) is seeking the public's help in locating Maryland teenager that has been missing for over three weeks.
