Lidl Opening In Passaic County Shopping Center
A new grocery store is coming soon to a popular shopping center. Lidl, which is based in Germany announced it is opening in Totowa Commons. While an opening date has not been announced, the 27,270 square foot store is set to open sometime this year. This will be the grocery store's second Passaic County location, joining one in Pompton Lakes. The grocery store chain has 22 locations throughout the Garden State.

Petition Started To Keep Popular Store Open In Hartsdale: 'Sad News'
In response to a popular store announcing its upcoming closure, town officials in Westchester have started a petition in an effort to keep it open or encourage a similar business to take its place. ShopRite Opens In Shuttered Elmwood Park K-Mart
Attention, K-Mart shoppers in Bergen County. You have a new place to shop. ShopRite celebrated its grand opening at 180 Broadway in Elmwood Park on Friday, Nov. 17. The location is the site of a former K-Mart, which shuttered in 2018 and was completely rebuilt by ShopRite. The 60,000 square foot store is run by Inserra Supermarkets and features a bakery, prepared food, a butcher, and seafood, deli and floral departments.

Grocery Store Stabbing: Boston 47-Year-Old Arrested, Victim Hospitalized After Argument: Police
A fight at a grocery store escalated into a stabbing and an arrest, officials say. A Hyde Park man was arrested for stabbing another man inside the Star Market grocery store on River Street in Dorchester, according to the Boston Police Department. Trevor Charlton, of Hyde Park, allegedly stabbed another man at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24. Boston police responded and arrested him on the scene. A Trader Joe's could be in the works in Arlington, according to records of newly-filed construction permits. The documents are requesting "landlord prep work to prepare for new Trader Joe's Grocery Store," along with various garage levels and a new storefront at 2450 Crystal Dr. Arlington officials did not immediately return Daily Voice's request for comment seeking confirmation. The grocery store would be located in Century Center Towers, bringing office space and retailers to the downtown district.

Amazon Fresh is planning to enter the New York market, according to a new report. The company said it will begin hiring for the store, which will be located on Long Island, in the hamlet of Oceanside, according to Supermarket News.
