Bronxville High School Students Celebrated For Efforts On Gun Safety A group of high school students have been recognized for their local efforts to improve gun safety. Students from the Bronxville High School were among those celebrated for taking a stand in the debate on gun violence at the New Yorkers Against Gun Violence Westchester Regional benefit, which was held in Eastchester on April 26. Seniors Viena Pentikainen and Kiki Shinsato, sophomore Esther Devitt and freshman Michael Randall were invited to attend by Scarsdale Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, who was one of the honorees at the event. Orange County To Offer Youth Hunter Safety Course Teens or youth interested in learning all about hunter safety are encouraged to attend an upcoming hunter safety program sponsored by the Orange County District Attorney’s Office Community Outreach Program. The ten-hour course will take place on April 16 and April 17, at the Senior Center in the Town of Deerpark. The course will run from 5 to 9 p.m. on both dates. The purpose of the course is to encourage interaction between law enforcement and the youth of Orange County, and to stress the importance of gun safety, said District Attorney David Hoovler.
