Man Busted On Weapons Charge After Shots Fired In New Rochelle Housing Complex
An investigation into reports of shots fired in a crowded Westchester housing complex led to the arrest of a Connecticut man who now faces a pair of charges, police said. Shortly before 11:15 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 6, a New Rochelle Police officer on patrol heard gunshots coming from the Heritage Home housing complex, prompting an investigation at the scene. Police said that upon arrival at the housing complex, officers found people fleeing the area, but were unable to locate a shooter or victim at that time. Gunshots brought Wayne police and other law enforcement officers to Mother's Ale House before dawn Sunday, but no victims or shooters were found, authorities said. Police in Delaware County are investigating after the sound of gunshots was reported Monday night in Glenolden. Officers responding to the 500 block of South Elmwood Avenue around 11:25 p.m. that the shots may have been fired during a possible road rage incident, according to the Glenolden Police Department. All the vehicles involved in the apparent incident fled the scene prior to police arrival, authorities said. No victims or property damage was reported. Two Halloween Shootings In One City - Woman Seriously Injured
Two shootings took place on Halloween, Oct. 31, leaving two women with injuries. Police responded to two reports of shots being fired on Saturday, Oct. 31, according to Worcester Police. The first was a little before 11 p.m. when police were called to the area of 261 Lincoln St., for a report of gunshots, police said. Gunshots rang out near a group of Westchester basketball courts overnight, prompting an extensive police investigation. Officers from the New Rochelle Police Department responded to a call of shots fired in the area of a basketball court on Main Street shortly after 10 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24. No Injuries Reported After Shots Fired In Mount Vernon
Detectives in Westchester are investigating reports of gunshots that were fired in Mount Vernon. Police said that gunshots were fired at approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 on South Second Avenue, though there were no initial reports of any injuries. The investigation led to a stretch of the roadway to be closed off as police investigated the reported shooting. The shooting remains under investigation.

Connecticut state police are investigating a road rage incident which included shots fired. State police from Troop I in Bethany said that at about 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, they initiated a probe of the incident that occurred on Route 8 north near exit 27 in Naugatuck.
