Support is on the rise for a mother and daughter killed in what authorities said was a murder-suicide in New Jersey last week.
Claribel Torres and her daughter, Evangelina, were identified in two campaigns as the victims of the triple shooting on Henry Street in Hamilton Township on Thursday, June 5, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta Marbrey said.
Mabrey said only that a man shot a woman and girl before turning the gun on himself.

Oxon Hill Man Hurt After Car Strikes Toll Barrier In New Jersey: Police
A 23-year-old Maryland man was injured after his car struck a toll barrier on the Atlantic City Expressway on Saturday, April 19, authorities said.
At 2:44 a.m., troopers responded to Hamilton Township after a Kia Sportage, traveling westbound, struck the attenuator at the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza, then impacted the concrete curb and concrete barrier, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police said.
The driver, a resident of Oxon Hill, sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.
The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

A motorcycle group fled the scene, after one of their riders, an 18-year-old Sicklerville resident was killed in a crash in Hamilton Township on Sunday, March 9, authorities said.
At 6:15 p.m., Alexander Thomas was riding westbound near Lalor Street and Bunting Avenue with a group of motorcyclists and quad riders, Hamilton Township police said.
The group was reportedly driving recklessly in the oncoming lane when Thomas attempted to pass a quad rider, police said. In the process, he collided with the rear of the quad, lost control, and crashed, police said.

A Mercer County man was accused of robbing two 7-Eleven convenience stores in the same township, authorities said.
Bobbyjean Orak, 29, of Hamilton Township, was charged with second-degree robbery and criminal attempted robbery, and two counts of fourth-degree theft. The Evesham Township Police Department announced his arrest in a news release on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
