A renowned New York basketball coach is taking his talents to A-Game Sports in Westchester. William “Coach Billy” Council, a 32-year veteran of the New York City basketball circuit, has been tabbed by New Rochelle-based A-Game Sports to kickstart its new basketball program, which will include training and playing opportunities to athletes of all ages and experiences. Man Admits To Road-Rage Stabbing That Killed Westchester Man On Taconic
A 22-year-old man has pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing another motorist during a road rage incident on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester. Pleasant Valley resident Christian Walcyzk has pleaded guilty to manslaughter for the stabbing death in May last year of Daniel Siino, a 28-year-old father who lived in Hartsdale. Firefighters in Hartsdale worked quickly recently to extinguish a fire that broke out in the engine of a parked car. Crews were dispatched to the intersection of North Central Avenue and Concord Avenue in Hartsdale at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, after receiving reports of an active car fire in the area.
