Haworth PD: Secret Service Investigating Fairview Man Caught With Hundreds In Counterfeit Bills
The Secret Service is investigating several hundred dollars in counterfeit bills that Haworth police said they found on a Fairview man awaiting trial on charges of forgery, money laundering and making false threats. Responding to a report of a disruptive patron at a local sushi restaurant, Sgt. Gianluca Ragone and Officer Kevin McKeary found 29-year-old Andrew D. Lochard walking along nearby Schraalenburgh Road, Detective Sgt. Justin Fox said. Lochard, who has an arrest record stretching back several years, allegedly smelled of marijuana. Tony Award-winning actor Philip Bosco died Monday night at his home in Haworth. He was 88 years old. His daughter Celia Bosco said the cause was complications of dementia, multiple news outlets report. The Jersey City native was a Broadway veteran, also well-known from films such as The Savages and Working Girl. He won his Tony Award in 1989 for his performance as the general manager of a Cleveland opera company in the Ken Ludwig farce Lend Me a Tenor. Haworth Police Treating 'Cabbage Night' Shaving Cream Swastikas As Bias Incident
UPDATE: Haworth police said they found no evidence that anyone was targeted by five swastikas drawn in shaving cream on a borough street during last week's "Cabbage Night."
