Emergency crews were called to the airport for the crash around 6 p.m. and remained on the scene for four hours. The pilot, a 68-year-old Mechanicsburg man, was injured when the helicopter crashed, according to police. The man was taken to the hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
