Newark Police arrested Alexander Saye, 22, of Irvington in connection with four separate robberies on Friday, Jan. 24 between 7 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. Naszir Mitchell, 21, of Hillside, was taken into custody on Sunday, Jan. 26 after he was identified as a suspect in three robberies, assaults and a carjacking. Bloomfield Man Charged In Slaying Of Hillside Resident, Dumping Body A Bloomfield man has been charged in the killing of a Hillside resident whose body was left in a parking lot last week, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said.  Harry Gonzalez, 29, shot and killed Ralph Jeudi, 32, Dec. 10, authorities said. The remains were discovered in the parking lot of a liquor store on Belleville Avenue in Belleville.  Gonzalez has been charged with murder, conspiracy, desecrating human remains, false swearing, false report and weapons offenses.  The investigation is still active, authorities said. Multi-alarm Fire Breaks Out At Union Home Sunday, Woman Reportedly Hurt Firefighters were in the 1900 block of Hillside Avenue in Union Sunday night where fire was ripping through a private home.  Fire broke out at the home around 6:30 p.m. and the blaze quickly went to multiple alarms.  A woman was rescued from a second-floor window of the home, according to a published report. She was hospitalized with burns at St. Barnabas Medical Center. Street To Be Renamed In Honor Of Slain Hillside Police Officer A street in Hillside near police headquarters will be renamed in honor of a slain police officer Dec. 14 -- the 40th anniversary of his death in the line of duty.  On Dec. 14, 1979, Patrolman Anthony Lordi Jr., 44, was on assignment at a restaurant when three men entered, according to the Officer Down Memorial Page.
