An accused drug dealer is facing multiple charges in connection to a Long Island woman’s overdose death.
Jaquan Casserly, age 34, of Holbrook, was arraigned in Suffolk County Court Friday, Jan. 27, months after allegedly selling fentanyl to a Lake Grove woman who later died, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Police were called to the woman’s home on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 with reports of an apparent overdose. The woman’s mother found her unresponsive in a bathroom, according to investigators.

Trio Apprehended In String Of Dunkin' Burglaries In Suffolk County
An investigation into a string of burglaries of Dunkin' locations on Long Island led to charges for three people.
Two people broke into Dunkin', located at 1105 Horseblock Road in Farmingville, at about 3:40 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, the Suffolk County Police Department reported.
They stole cash and left the scene in a waiting vehicle, which detectives pulled over a short time later, SCPD said.
Police arrested the driver, identified as 54-year-old Michael Gruber, and the passengers, 51-year-old Kristen Osmolia and 44-year-old Christopher Volpe, authorities reported.

Man Wanted On Felony Charges Apprehended In Southampton, Charged With DWI, Police Say
A 46-year-old man who was wanted on felony charges was apprehended on Long Island.
On Sunday, Nov. 13, the Suffolk County Police Department asked Southampton Town Police officers to search for Timothy Butler, of Holbrook, who was driving a 2014 Ram pickup truck, the Southampton Town Police Department reported.
Butler was believed to be potentially armed and suicidal, police said.
