Stolen Car Catches Fire On Garden State Parkway
A stolen car caught fire on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The car was reported stolen out of Little Silver, according to Trooper Charles Marchan, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police. State troopers found the car on fire at milepost 116.8 northbound in Holmdel at 11:53 a.m. Friday, Marchan said. The car had been abandoned and there was no one close to it. The incident remains under investigation.

Winning Powerball Ticket Worth $1M Sold On Jersey Shore
There was a million-dollar Powerball winner in New Jersey on Wednesday, state Lottery officials said. One California and One Wisconsin player split the $632.6 Million Powerball jackpot which was the seventh-largest in the history of the game. A continuing investigation into illegal use of child pornography has resulted in nine indictments this fall in Central Jersey, authorities said. A Monmouth County grand jury this week returned indictments against two defendants charged with crimes involving distribution and/or possession of child sexual abuse materials, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey said. A Central Jersey school district is facing a $50 million suit from a man claiming his middle school teacher groomed and sexually abused him in the 1990s, according to multiple news reports. A 32-year-old man from Central Jersey has been sentenced to 10 years in state prison for setting fires that destroyed a realty company's offices, authorities said. Jersey Shore Teen Reported Missing
A teen from Central Jersey was reported missing Thursday night. Paris Laster, 16, was last seen leaving her home in Holmdel without her parents’ permission on Wednesday, township police said. Laster is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs approximately 100 pounds and has dark hair, police said. Man Set Off Molotov Cocktails 3 Times In Jersey Shore Costco, Theater Parking Lot: Prosecutor
A Jersey Shore man was arrested for setting off molotov cocktails in a local Route 35 parking lot three nights last week, authorities said. Brendan J. Dunne, 24, of Holmdel, set off a series of fires believe to have started in a glass bottle containing charred pieces of cardboard in the Route 45 Costco and Cinemark parking lot July 19, 21 and 22, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.
