Teen Nabbed For Stealing Two Vehicles, Crashing BMW, In Fairfield County, Police Say
A man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a Fairfield County home and stealing keys to a BMW, then stealing the vehicle and crashing it.
Charles Wood Wright, age 18, of New Canaan, was arrested on Sunday, July 11, following the crash which place on Heritage Hill Road, said the New Canaan Police.
According to police, officers responded to a crash involving a BMW which had struck a tree located off the road. When officers arrived, the vehicle was unoccupied and heavily damaged.

Police: Warren County Man, 28, Jailed On Home Burglary, Harassment, Disorderly Conduct Charges
A Warren County man accused of a home burglary, harassment and criminal mischief has been jailed, police say.
Bryan Daken, 28, is accused of breaking into a home on the 70 block of S. Lincoln Ave. in Washington Borough around 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 6, township police said.
Daken, of Washington, was arrested at the scene and charged with burglary, trespass, criminal mischief, harassment, disorderly conduct, possession of (CDS) less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a nuisance.
Daken was being held at the Warren County Jail pending a court appearance.

A 36-year-old Chester County man is facing decades behind bars for his involvement in a string of home burglaries in which he and his accomplices stole $35,000 worth of items, authorities said.
Christopher Hersh, of Avondale, and two co-conspirators robbed homes in West Fallowfield, West Caln, Kennett, West Marlborough, and New London, in October and November 2016, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office.

Suspect Nabbed In String Of Burglaries At Long Island Homes
A man who allegedly robbed four Long Island homes, stealing an estimated $3,300 in valuables, was arrested at his residence and charged with a series of felonies, according to police.
Jahkeem M. Jiles, 29, stole clothing and handbags valued at $700 during the first of his rash of burglaries -- all in Hempstead -- at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 8, Nassau County Police said.
At around 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, police said that Jiles removed a wallet and car keys from another residence.
