The first incident was reported around 6 a.m., Friday, Aug. 20 when officers responded to a home in Westport in the Compo Beach area of town. Charles Wood Wright, age 18, of New Canaan, was arrested on Sunday, July 11, following the crash which place on Heritage Hill Road, said the New Canaan Police. The suspect broke into a home near Twin Hills Drive in Boonton when the owners were away on March 5 around 6:30 p.m., township police said. It is not known whether any possessions were taken, police said. Anyone with surveillance footage or other information about this incident is asked to contact the Boonton Township Police Department Detective Bureau.
