A 16-year-old Long Island boy is facing attempted murder charges for allegedly mowing down two pedestrians with his car before crashing into another driver, prosecutors said.
Christopher Hernandez, age 16, of Brentwood, was formally indicted on multiple charges that include two counts of attempted murder, assault, and reckless endangerment, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday, Jan. 6.
Prosecutors said Hernandez sought out the minor victims on Friday, Dec. 9, while driving a Honda Civic in Brentwood.

A Pennsylvania driver accused of killing two people during the unsanctioned H2oi car rally in Wildwood last fall has been indicted on 18 counts including vehicular homicide, NJ Advance Media reports.
Gerald J. White, 37, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Delaware was allegedly fleeing another crash when he hit a Honda Civic and two pedestrians on Sept. 24, prosecutors have said.

Motorists Seriously Hurt In Pair Of Garden State Parkway Crashes: Njsp
Two motorists were seriously hurt in a pair of crashes on the Garden State Parkway in Central Jersey, authorities said.
The first crash occurred at 12:53 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 south at milepost 125.2 in Sayreville. Preliminary investigation indicates that a Freightliner tractor-trailer was traveling southbound in the express lanes when it went off the road to the right, then struck the guardrail and concrete support beam, according to Sgt.
