A suspect has been charged with murder in the 2020 killing of a pregnant woman and her baby in Columbia, Howard County Police announced Thursday.
Edward Robinson, 31, of Columbia, was arrested Wednesday, April 9 in Gaithersburg in connection to the murder of 30-year-old Rabiah Ahmad, which forced the delivery of her baby, who died days later.
The case began on July 31, 2020, around 11 p.m., when officers responded to the 6600 block of Dovecote Drive after several shots were fired into a residence from outside.

Edvin Giovanni Ceron-Reyes, 37, was taken into custody by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Maryland on Monday, March 31, after he completed a prison sentence for a brutal 2011 crime in Howard County, ICE announced.
Ceron-Reyes, a citizen of Guatemala, entered the United States unlawfully at an unknown location and date. On July 7, 2011, Howard County Police arrested him and charged him with attempted first-degree murder.

A Baltimore man known on the streets as “RoFo” is behind bars after allegedly trafficking women, robbing his victims—sometimes at gunpoint—and running a prostitution ring out of a Maryland motel, authorities announced.

Just weeks after celebrating his 15th birthday, Blake Raymon Andrew McCray has passed away—becoming the second young victim of a targeted shooting outside the Columbia Mall, officials confirmed.
