A pair of winning Powerball tickets worth $1 million and $50,000 were sold in the same county in Maryland.
The million dollar second-tier prizewinning ticket was sold at Green Meadows Exxon at 6762 Riggs Road in Hyattsville, while a third-tier $50,000 Double Play ticket was sold at 7-Eleven at 9500 Ruby Lockhart Blvd. in Bowie — both in Prince George’s County, lottery officials said.

Three Men In Custody Months After Fatal Shooting In Maryland, Police Say
Three men have been apprehended months after a 31-year-old Washington, DC man was found shot to death in Prince George's County.
Riverdale resident Kenneth Gails, 30, Marcus Chapman, 33, and Josue Vasques, 27, both of Hyattsville, have been arrested and charged in connection to the murder of 31-year-old Jarell Thompson earlier this year.
In March, officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called to the 3500 block of 52nd Avenue in Hyattsville, where they found Thompson's body suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a parked car.
