Stratford Police Investigate False Report After Woman Found Duct-Taped STRATFORD, Conn. — A woman found bound with duct tape in a Stratford motel Wednesday had not been abducted from Iowa as she had claimed, police said Friday. On Wednesday, Stratford police responded to the Honeyspot Motor Inn on a call of a possible abduction. Officers found a woman bound with duct tape in one of the motel rooms and learned she had been reported missing in Iowa on New Year’s Eve, police said.
