Two individuals who were in the area of an anti-Semitic attack on a Starbucks sign in Glen Rock were being sought by the police who turned to the public for help. At this point, both are being characterized as "potential witnesses" to the Feb. 19th bias-related vandalism at the Starbucks in the borough's Central Business District, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. Traffic along the Ben Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia came to a stop Saturday afternoon, March 2 due to pro-Palestinian protestors. The demonstration began outside City Hall before migrating to the bridge at approximately 2 p.m. The protestors could be heard chanting "Free Palestine" and "From the river to the sea Palestine will be free." Videos of the protest were shared to Citizen. Protests have been widespread since the Oct. 7, 2023 Hamas attacks, sparking a war between Israel and Gaza.

UPDATE: Whoever defaced a sign with red paint at a Starbucks in Glen Rock was apparently mimicking similar attacks that have occurred throughout the U.S. and Canada since the Israel-Hamas war began last October, Police Chief Dean Ackermann said.
