A total of 83 arrests were made in the New York metro area as part of a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) nationwide enforcement operation in which more than 2,000 were charged.
Deportation officers made arrests throughout New York City, Long Island, the Hudson Valley, and Jersey City, New Jersey.

Health officials are sharing new information about the pediatric inflammatory illness linked to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with 14 states now investigating cases.
New York State has the most cases with 102.
Other states now investigating cases are Connecticut, New Jersey, California, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington. So far, those states have not yet released details on the cases.
The illness displays symptoms similar to those of Kawasaki disease or toxic shock-like syndrome.

During his daily COVID-19 news briefing on Monday, April 13, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that there are now 195,031 confirmed cases statewide, which have resulted in the deaths of 10,056 New Yorkers, up from the total of 935 a day earlier.

1,104 New Covid-19 Cases Confirmed On Long Island As State Total Hits 37,258
There were 1,104 new cases of novel coronavirus reported on Long Island as the total number of confirmed cases climbs to 37,258.
In Nassau County, there were 629 new cases reported, bringing the total countywide total to 3,914 since the outbreak began. There were 475 cases in Suffolk, as the total climbed to 2,735.
