Funeral Services Scheduled For 30-Year-Old Killed In Two-Vehicle Northern Westchester Crash Funeral services are planned for a 30-year-old Putnam County native who died following a motorcycle crash in Northern Westchester. Matthew Hickey, of Verplanck, was killed while driving riding a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle east on Kings Ferry Road in Montrose, a hamlet of Cortlandt, around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, during a crash with another vehicle, said New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks. The crash occurred when a  32-year-old Cortlandt woman, driving a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on Kings Ferry Road, turned left onto Hunt Avenue, but she did not see Hickey, Hicks said. …

Tony Goncalves of Derby was struck and killed around 7:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 63 near the Naugatuck-Bethany town line, said the Connecticut State Police. Investigators are looking for a 1997 to 2001 green Jeep Grand Cherokee that fatally struck Goncalves Sunday and then fled the area.
