Two children accidentally set a car on ablaze in Maryland overnight while they were playing with fire, officials say. Shortly before midnight, members of the Salisbury Fire Department were called to a home on Delaware Avenue in Wicomico County, where there was a reported car fire. A 47-year-old man who allegedly inappropriately touched a 6-year-old at a Virginia playground is behind bars, police say. A juvenile who led police on a chase in a stolen car has been charged, Reading Police announced on Monday, June 24. Two Teens Caught In Stolen Car, Allentown Police Say
Two juvenile suspects were arrested after police said they were found in a stolen vehicle early Monday, June 17. Authorities said they were called about a stolen car on the 600 block of Chew Street around 1:40 a.m. While officers were taking the report, the car was spotted near North 7th Street entering the city. The vehicle was pulled over and both juveniles were taken into custody, APD said. Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD. Two juveniles on bicycles were hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, June 12 in Linden, authorities said. The two boys were pedaling toward Wheeler Park, eastbound across S. Stiles Street along the northern curb line of W. Edgar Road when they were struck in the crosswalk by an Elizabeth man driving a 2015 Mercedes Benz, Linden police said.
