Authorities: Driver Nabbed After Injuring Officer In Union County Pursuit, Crash
A driver wanted out of Monmouth County was arrested after leading police on a pursuit through Union County before crashing, then speeding off -- injuring an officer in the process, authorities said. Ryan Camargo was behind the wheel of a white Dodge Charger with no license plates when he made several traffic violations near Liberty and Hillside avenues in Hillside around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Hillside police spokeswoman Natalie Ogonowski said. Thomas Robert Bliss of Kenilworth died at University Medical Center in Newark Tuesday. He was 14 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, he lived with his family in Roselle Park before they moved to Kenilworth in 2012. One of two winning third-tier Powerball tickets was sold in Paramus. The ticket from the Oct. 12 drawing is good for $50,000 and was sold at Paramus Food Center on Paramus Road.
