Four people are facing charges after a 20-year-old man was hit with a metal baseball bat and shot with a BB gun at a Long Island park.
Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Larry's Landing, located on Lake Shore Road in Lake Ronkonkoma, at about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, the Suffolk County Police Department reported.
Police reported finding that a 20-year-old Lake Grove man had been assaulted by four individuals who were known to him.
He was struck with a baseball bat, kicked, and shot with a BB gun, SCPD said.

A Long Island man has been apprehended after assaulting and seriously injuring a woman prior to a long standoff with officers at his home, police said.
The incident unfolded early Sunday morning, May 22 in Lake Grove.
Jarrod Pearson, age 43, was involved in a domestic dispute with an adult female family member when he attempted to choke the woman, Suffolk County Police said.

A man has been apprehended after police say he raped a teenager he conversed with on Snapchat.
Andrew Ramsaroop, age 30, of Queens, then met the victim at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove on Friday, May 13 during which he attempted to have the victim and her friend enter his vehicle, but they refused, Suffolk County Police said.
Later that day, the victim met with Ramsaroop at a playground on Devonshire Road in Hauppauge, said police.

The men were found in Selden around 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 3 at a home located at 55 Hollywood Ave.
