A general contractor in Montgomery County will spend months in jail and pay thousands in restitution after pleading guilty to ripping off several Philadelphia area homeowners, authorities say. The DWI dump truck driver who last August killed the pregnant wife of a Pennsylvania firefighter was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 2 in Boston, authorities announced. Two suspects are at large after a store robbery over the Labor Day weekend in Lansdale, authorities said. The masked men entered 7-Eleven on the 600 block of West Main Street around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3, according to Lansdale police and NorthPennNow. One of three victims wounded in a shooting in Lansdale Thursday, July 7, was previously shot in June, NorthPennNow reports. 1 Shot In Lansdale, Police Say
One person was shot in Lansdale Monday, June 6, authorities said. Officers responding to a shooting found the gunshot victim on the 300 block of West Fifth Street around 9:30 p.m., Lansdale police said. The unidentified male victim was taken to Grandview Hospital, where he is expected to survive, police said. Multiple shell casings were also recovered from the scene. Crash Takes Down Traffic Light In Lansdale: Police
A two-car crash in Lansdale brought down a traffic signal Tuesday, May 10, authorities said. The Lansdale Police Department and local fire crews responded to South Broad and Hancock Streets, where they said a driver ran a red light, causing the crash around 2:05 p.m. One of the drivers was taken to a local hospital for treatment, police said. Their condition was not made clear. The road was closed for several hours as crews repaired the damaged traffic light, police said. Charges are pending the result of an ongoing investigation.
