A four-vehicle crash in Connecticut left one person dead and another with life-threatening injuries. The crash took place around 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14 in Hartford County on West Center Street in Manchester, police said. According to Lt. Ryan Shea of the Manchester Police, responding officers found a four-car crash that left several vehicles heavily damaged and resulted in significant life-threatening injuries to several involved people. Woman Critically Injured After Being Struck By Car In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County woman remained in critical but stable condition after being struck and trapped beneath a vehicle. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6 in the parking garage at 2200 Bedford St., in Stamford. A 2011 Nissan Altima being driven by an 84-year-old Stamford resident was traveling southbound through the parking garage when she struck the 73-year-old as she was walking through the garage, said Stamford Police Sgt. Pedestrian Seriously Injured Near Accident Scene In Totowa
A pedestrian was hospitalized with what responders said they believed were life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a car Thursday night in Totowa while a police officer was investigating a nearby crash that occurred moments earlier. The freak accident occurred in front of the Delta gas station on Union Boulevard and Boyle Avenue around 5 p.m. The officer was writing his report when the woman was hit. The Totowa First Aid Squad took her to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office responded along with borough police and EMS.
