Wallkill Man Caught With Hallucinogen, THC In Traffic Stop, Police Say
A man is facing multiple charges after being busted driving while intoxicated with hallucinogens and THC oil in his possession during a routine traffic stop on Route 44. New York State Police troopers in Highland stopped Wallkill resident Eric Nichol, 37, on Route 44/55 in Lloyd on Monday night for a vehicle and traffic violation. During the subsequent traffic stop, it was determined that Nichol was driving while under the influence of drugs while also in possession of the drugs. Newburgh Man Charged With DWI After Route 32 Stop
A Hudson Valley motorist was among five busted throughout the state for driving while intoxicated overnight. Since the new year began, New York State Police and local law enforcement agencies have been “out in full force” to curtail impaired drivers in the region as part of a statewide crackdown. Among those arrested was Newburgh resident Anthony Burnett, 37, who was stopped on Route 32 in Newburgh on Thursday morning for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Police: Poughkeepsie Man Rips Off Credit Cards, Vehicle In Domestic Dispute
A Poughkeepsie man was arrested after ripping off another person's credit card, cash and a vehicle following a domestic dispute, according to the Town Lloyd Police. Joseph E. Tippa, 42, was charged with grand larceny, criminal contempt, and unauthorized use of a vehicle. following the dispute where he stole the items, according to Lt. James Janso. Tippa was arraigned before Lloyd Town Justice Eugene Rizzo and held without bail in Ulster County Jail.
