A couple has claimed a $3,000,000 New York Lottery prize.
Hudson Valley residents Mark and Theresa Stewart, of Circleville in Orange County, claimed the top prize from New York Lottery's Electric 10X scratch-off game, the lottery announced on Thursday, May 26.
"This is simply amazing," Mark told NY Lottery after claiming the prize.
The couple chose to split the annuity evenly, and each received an initial payment of $48,825 after required withholdings. They will continue to receive annual payments through 2041, the lottery said.

New York Man Claims $10 Million Lottery Prize
A New York man has claimed a $10,000,000 lottery prize.
Ermilo Gatica, of Manhattan, claimed a top prize in the New York Lottery's Black Titanium scratch-off game, the lottery announced on Friday, April 29.
He chose to receive his prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $6,122,400 after required withholdings, NY Lottery reported.
The ticket was purchased at Nathanael Beauty Supply, which is located at 3887 Broadway in Manhattan, the lottery said.
NY Woman Claims '$5,000 A Week For Life' Lottery Prize
A New York woman is celebrating after she won a lottery prize worth millions of dollars.
Christina Merry won the "$5,000 A Week For Life" prize from the lottery's "Set For Life" scratch-off game, the Lottery announced on Friday, Jan. 28.
Merry is from Glenfield in Lewis County, which is located about 35 miles from Watertown.
NY Lottery said Merry chose to receive her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $2,820,543 after required withholdings.

The ticket from the Dec. 3 Mega Millions drawing is good for $10,000.
It was purchased at Country Farms #1 off Route 70 West and Whitesville Road in Toms River.

A winning New York Lottery ticket worth more than $20,000 was sold at a Westchester convenience store, officials announced.
New York Lottery officials announced on Thursday, Dec. 2 that a Take-5 ticket worth $21,038 was purchased at BNS Variety at 25 W. Grand St. in Mount Vernon.
The winning numbers for the Take-5 midday drawing were 4-9-15-29-38.
