Dad, Sons Busted By Mahwah PD For Selling THC Products To Minors At Route 17 Gas Station
A business owner and his two sons were busted by Mahwah police who said they found them selling THC products to underage teens at their Route 17 gas station. Undercover buys led to the discovery in plain view of 360 THC products during a raid at the BP station on the southbound highway just past the Route 202 interchange, Mahwah Police Capt. Guido Bussinelli said. Police arrested the owners -- Murat Ozen, 54, of Paramus, and his sons, Selim Devia, 32, of East Rutherford and Muhammed Ozen, 24 of Paramus -- he said. The Sheraton Hotel in Mahwah, which opened in 1986, officially shut its doors on Thursday, Dec.14, to be replaced by two warehouses at the 1 International Blvd. site. Exactly 20 years ago, Gail Corbo bought Country Cafe. Well, back then it was called Franklin Lakes Deli. It was on Pulis Avenue in Franklin Lakes, and Corbo had been working there since her teens. The driver and passenger in a stolen Range Rover that hit a utility pole, rolled over and ignited a cluster of fires during a pre-dawn police chase Friday on Route 17 are both 15-year-old juveniles from Newark, authorities said.
