16-Year-Old Shot, Killed While Riding Bike On CT Roadway
A 16-year-old Connecticut boy was shot while riding a bike along a city street. The incident took place in New Haven around 4:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19 on Valley Street between Mountain Road and Harper Avenue. Responding officers located a 16-year-old boy who had been shot. American Medical Response transported the victim to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead, said Officer Scott Shumway, of the New Haven Police. Five Indicted In Fatal Atlantic City Shooting: Prosecutor
Five men were charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said. Phillip Hayes, 35, Lester Robinson, 29, and Monica Gonzalez, 27, all from Atlantic City, and Quamel Schaffer, 30, and Quataisa Harrington, 23, both from Millville, were indicted on Tuesday, Dec. 6,, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Amityville Man Gunned Down In New Jersey As Police Search For Killer
A Long Island man who was gunned down at an apartment complex in New Jersey last month is being laid to rest this coming weekend as the hunt for his killer continues. Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella identified the victim shot in the head in the rear of the Bookchester Apartments in New Milford in the 900 block of Boulevard on Nov. 26 as Jacques McDonald, age 25, of Amityville. Details Released In Maplewood Stabbing, Arson
A woman recently released from some type of institution is believed to have stabbed herself and set multiple fires in her Maplewood home the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 7, sources with direct knowledge of the incident tell Daily Voice. Responders at the scene on Maplewood Avenue noted some type of hoarding situation, sources said. A spokesperson with the prosecutors office said only that detectives with the major crimes unit were responding and that the incident was not a homicide.

Noose Discovered In Locker Room At CT High School
Police are investigating after a noose was found in a boys' locker room at a high school in Connecticut. The noose was found in Tolland County at the RHAM High School located in Hebron on Friday, Nov. 18. District 8 School Superintendent Colin McNamara said the noose, commonly associated with racial hatred, was found hanging in the locker room by a staff member. A 21-year-old man from Mays Landing was killed by gunfire overnight in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, at 1:47 a.m., Atlantic City police responded to a ShotSpotter notification on the 1400 block of Atlantic Avenue.
